The Open Water Survival training program is designed to serve as an introduction to emergency techniques as they apply to marine operations.

The program very practical in nature, and covers the following topics;

 
 
     
 
  • Facility Safety Orientations.
  • Recognizing the emergency.
  • Storage and Preparation of emergency gear.
  • Donning of emergency gear.
  • Elevated Evacuation techniques.
  • Launching and Retrieval of survival craft.
  • Survival craft emergency contents and their use.
  • Boarding techniques.
 
  • Assisting injured personnel.
  • Survival at sea.
  • In water survival techniques.
  • Grouping positions.
  • Flare operation.
