| A privately owned and operated limited
liability company, Hummingbird Helicopter Services Limited was incorporated
in September 1994.
The brainchild of Captain H. Anthony Vieira, Hummingbird Helicopter Services Limited commenced actual operations in 1996, offering contract Helicopter Pilot services to Bristow (Caribbean) Limited – a first of its kind for a local pilot. The business further developed to provide contract engineering services as well to Bristow. Hummingbird Helicopter Services Limited, by virtue of its vision to provide the local industry with a quality product using majority local resources, expanded its product base by introducing specialized training to both the helicopter and energy sectors in Trinidad & Tobago. The increased demand for this specialized training prompted the establishment of a dedicated training division. This saw the creation of our subsidiary company HHSL Safety Systems, which provides training, consultancy, sales and service all geared primarily towards the helicopter and energy sectors. Another facet of our operations is the provision of ground handling services at off base sites for the primary client, Bristow (Caribbean) Limited. Our check-in facility is located at the Piarco International Airport, Old Terminal Building. In January 2000, Hummingbird Helicopter Services Limited introduced Helicopter Sight Seeing and Tours to the sister isle of Tobago, using an ‘N’ registered Bell 206 Jetranger on a lease arrangement. This venture caters primarily to the tourism sector. The steady increase in our client base over the four (4) year period is testimony to the quality product and service provided by Hummingbird Helicopter Services Limited, and its subsidiary HHSL Safety Systems. With over forty (40) years combined experience, Hummingbird Helicopter Services Limited is committed to ensuring service excellence to all of our valued clients. |

Mr. Emmanuel Gopaul is the Manager of Maintenance and holds both A&P and Trinidad and Tobago Engineer’s License. With over twenty (20) years experience in the maintenance field, Mr. Gopaul’s extensive exposure includes stints at international operations, and participation in several factory courses. Mr. Sharzam Richie Barkarr is the Senior Dispatcher for Hummingbird’s Piarco operations. A diligent and highly safety-oriented worker, Mr. Barkarr has been trained by Hummingbird, and is current in dangerous goods awareness, fire fighting, and first aid. He has also been trained by HHSL as an HLO (Helicopter Landing Officer). In March of 2002, Mr. Barkarr received a citation from the President of bpTT’s Drilling Exploration Unit for excellence in safety. Mr. Felix Kendall His experience stems over thirty-five
